Just saw this from Leonard Sweet.

“Even Christians are so much better at wearing crosses than bearing crosses.“

How true. How painfully true.

How can we encourage each other to live lives that are cross bearing instead of cross wearing?

    Adam, I agree – that did sting a little (a lot, actually)…

    I guess one thing that might assist in our quest to be authentic followers could be having people in our lives who know our hearts, observe our lives and have permission to say the tough things to us when we stray from cross bearin’ to cross wearin’. It’s too easy to “look like” we’re living it out when what we’re doing is LOOKING like we’re living it out.

    Dang… i’m gonna go serve somewhere NOW!!!
