I’m occasionally available to lead worship outside of my local church. If you’d be interested in having me come lead worship or teach (on topics like worship, songwriting, leadership & various other goodies) you can contact me at adam at adamherod dot com or you can call me at 919.229.9004. Here are some recommendations from some folks I’ve had the pleasure of doing ministry with in the past.
“How do you briefly describe an amazing person that you’ve known both personally and professionally for your entire life? Adam Herod is one of those few people in my life. Adam has shown a passionate desire for the presence of God since an early age. As a teen, it became very clear that God had created Adam with the powerful ability to lead others to the Father through music. During Adam’s developmental years he served under amazing worship leaders, world-renowned songwriters and great pastoral leadership. Adam is now the evident combination of these factors.
I have personally trusted Adam on multiple occasions to lead my team and local congregation in worship. His ability to quickly connect to people personally, professionally and congregationally remains clear. What you see is what you get. You’ll find that Adam is a man who’s met Jesus and he love’s to share Him.”
Michael J. Craig, Worship Pastor, The Church at Severn Run
“It was a great privilege for us to have Adam Herod as our Worship Pastor at Greenbrier Church. He brought to us a sense of musical excellence and put policies and systems in place that built multiple worship teams expanded our horizons and enabled us to experience a heightened sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. His heart for God, passion and pastoral gifting will bring new life to your church.”
Eric Watt, Sr. Pastor at Greenbrier Church
“Adam’s talent is unquestionable. His heart is inspiring. He is a worshiper through song and life, and leads others to do the same.”
Warren Barfield, Artist & Songwriter
“Allow me to take a minute of your time to tell you about the ministry of Adam Herod. Recently I invited Adam to come to our church and I asked him to encourage our worship team specifically about song writing. As you may know, Adam is a prolific song writer. He is also a gifted vocalist, saxophonist and keyboard player. In a very short 30 minutes or so, Adam was able to encourage our team in the craft of song writing. It was powerful.
Adam is a leader as well. I know his leadership in worship leading would be a benefit to your team, should you invite him to come. I believe Adam is moving into a new season of his ministry where he will be traveling more and spending time mentoring worship teams and worship leaders. I have been a worship pastor for many years, yet I recently sent Adam a few of my songs for him to listen to so I could get an idea of how close the songs were to being ready. I respect his giftings, but I admire his heart for worship even more. I recommend Adam for ministry at your church. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about Adam, his ministry, etc.”
Wayne Tate, Worship Pastor, Manna Church
“I have had the privilege of knowing Adam for over 20 years, personally and professionally. Over these long years of our friendship, I can truly attest that Adam is one of the most honest, talented, loyal, and Godly men I have ever met. I have had the honor of serving under Adam many times in a worship capacity. Adam is passionate about his relationship with his Savior and leading others into His presence. He has the heart to bring musical excellence before the Lord while keeping the focus on Christ and not himself or his team; an unfortunately rare gift in the church today. Adam truly demonstrates what it means to lead by serving. His heart to include the team he leads is inspiring and motivating. He is always the encourager, even handling necessary confrontations with respect and tact. Though honest, Adam always speaks the truth in love and challenges his team with Christ’s heart. Adam is a leader you want to stand behind and support because he has won your respect and loyalty through his example of unconditional love and acceptance…”
